FBLA Students Excel at State Competition
Seventeen Brighton High School students participated in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Competition in April. The top-four finalists in their respective competition categories received awards.
In personal finance, Elias Grey took first place. In economics, Drew Sienkowski took first and Ben Watson took third. In networking infrastructures, Aakash Kelkar took second. In banking and financial systems, Ben Watson took second. In entrepreneurship, Kelkar and Tikhon Shapovalov took third. In graphic design, Naveena Primo and Isabella Williams took third. In international business, Gray, Lucas Ng, and Aditya Shaligram took third. In sports and entertainment marketing, Sienkowski took third.
These winners are eligible to attend the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas at the end of June. We are so proud of our students who put in the hard work, prepared, and excelled. MaryBeth Bradshaw is the club’s advisor.
