Brighton Construction Schedule for the week of Jan. 26 to 30

Below is the anticipated schedule of work from January 26 to 30, 2026.

Brighton High School

Technology Suite:

• Shop equipment connections
• Dust collector commissioning
• Electrical finishes
• Exterior door installation dependent on material availability
• Metal casework installation dependent on material availability
• Electrical light switch in shop room

Door 20 Addition:

• Subject to material arriving onsite, countertop and window jamb installation

Music Suite:

• Abatement

Athletic Fields and New Entry Lane:

• Subject to material arrival, there will be placement and installation of stone for new entry lane, drop-off loop and temporary laydown area which is next to the Buildings and Grounds Lot
• Weather-dependent stripping of topsoil, stockpiling onsite
• Demo and disposal of shed/house and utility removals
• Site prep including soil stockpiling and drainage work

Boiler Room:

• Mechanical and plumbing piping disconnections
• Cooling Tower Rough-In Welding
• Structural steel demo
• Electrical disconnections
• Plumbing sump pumps
• Concrete pad demolition/install for boilers

Twelve Corners Middle School

STEAM Suite:

• Wall painting 

Stairwells:

• Painting

Elevator:

• Electrical card reader programming
• Electrical panel work and testing
• Breaker installation

French Road Elementary School

Exterior Canopy:

• Electrical back-lit lighting installation for new signage

Main Lobby/Secure Vestibule:

• Metal coiling door electrical connections
• Main office manual release installation
• Painting touch-ups

Please note that our schedules are always subject to change based on many factors and opportunities including manpower, material availability, and weather.

Brighton Central School District construction projects will follow the local Town of Brighton Construction Noise Ordinance Hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please anticipate that there may be varying loud noise between those hours to allow for construction to advance.
