Welcome from the Brighton Central PTSA!!!
The Brighton Central PTSA is a not-for-profit local unit organized by volunteers under the authority of the NYS PTA. We value the partnership between parents, teachers, and school administration so we can ensure that students have a successful school experience.
The PTSA is a voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and the community, advocating for the education and well-being of every child.
What does the Brighton PTSA do?
Student Support Fund/Grants:
Each year the Brighton Central PTSA supports students and families though the Student Support Fund. The Student Support fund is a grant set up with each school building and is intended to financially support families and students that may be unable to affrod the cost of school events, camps and/or activities. Families are encouraged to reach out to their student’s counselor if there is a need.
All requests for funds remain annonymous to PTSA members (personal information, including names of families and students, remains with the school counselors/administration only).
*Funds are limited and distrubuted on a case-by-case basis as identified by school administration.
PTSA Events for students and families:
Throughout the school year, the PTSA organizes events for students and families such as:
Book Fairs, Ice Cream Socials, Staff Appreciation Events, Festival of Ideas, FRES & CRPS Family Movie Nights, Springfest, School Pictures, 8th Grade Farewell Bonfire, Homecoming, Spirit Wear Sales, Library Support, Game Nights, Art Room Support, TCMS Activity Nights, Summer Activity Fair, Author Visits, 8th Grade Dance, Fun Food Fridays, Food Truck Rodeo, FRES Bingo Nights, Brighton Believes Day, Senior BASH, and MANY MORE!
As we are a not-for-profit organization, all PTSA events are funded by year-round fundraising activities and donations. Our fundraising is used for grants, scholarships educational programs and to host furture events.
Please donate to the General PTSA fund to support our programs and events!
If you ever have any questions, comments, or ideas, please feel free to e-mail me at president@bcsdptsa.org.
Thank you for your continued support of the Brighton Central PTSA and our BCSD Community.

The reasons are endless to volunteer with the Brighton PTSA. There are many ways that you can share your time and talents. Daytime or evening, behind the scenes or right up front, there is something for everyone.
Please note that filling out the form does not commit you to volunteer. It's less of a 'sign up' and more of an 'opt-in for communications'.
