BHS Class Visits RIT’s Cary Graphic Arts Collection
The BHS Graphic Design class visited the Cary Graphic Arts Collection at Rochester Institute of Technology. Students toured one of the world’s premier libraries for graphic communication history and practice, observed students working in the SHED — RIT’s high‑tech makerspace — and viewed and discussed the work and process of Lester Beall, a leader in American modern graphic design. Mrs. Pickering was proud as students engaged in thoughtful dialogue with one another and the curators, reflecting the excellence that Brighton embodies.
